It is once again another gloomy and rainy day this early Florida morning. As I’m getting myself together to leave for work, I kiss my still sleepy boyfriend before I head into the kitchen to grab my lunch out of the refrigerator and what happens? The power goes out. I’m already running late so I look at my phone for to see if any emails have been sent out and my boss has sent out an email to everyone saying that the office will be closed until noon. Great I knew I should have stayed in bed… Many of the roads downtown are flooded and I’ve been receiving emails back and forth from co-workers with pictures of flooded exit ramps, roads and of course the office.
